Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 22 August 2026
Pernovia Health is committed to making our website and services accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities and neurodivergent people.
We recognise that people access and process information in different ways. We aim to provide a website and assessment service that are clear, simple to navigate and compatible with commonly used accessibility technologies.
Our Accessibility Standard
We aim for the Pernovia Health website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.
As part of this commitment, we aim to ensure that users can:
- navigate the website using a keyboard without relying on a mouse;
- use the website with commonly used screen readers and assistive technologies;
- zoom and enlarge text without losing essential content or functionality;
- read content presented with appropriate colour contrast;
- understand links, buttons, headings and form labels;
- navigate pages using a clear and consistent structure;
- use the website without relying solely on colour to understand information; and
- access the website across commonly used desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
Clear and Accessible Information
We aim to present information about ADHD assessments in plain, understandable language and avoid unnecessary complexity.
Where possible, we use:
- clear headings and page structure;
- readable font sizes;
- appropriate spacing;
- descriptive links and buttons;
- concise instructions; and
- consistent navigation.
We will continue to review the website and our information as the service develops.
Clinical and Assessment Systems
Some parts of your assessment journey may be provided through secure third-party clinical or assessment systems rather than directly through the Pernovia Health website.
We select providers with accessibility and usability in mind and will raise accessibility concerns with the relevant provider where appropriate.
If an accessibility issue with one of these systems prevents you from completing part of your assessment, please contact us so that we can explore a reasonable alternative.
Reasonable Adjustments for Your Assessment
Accessibility is not limited to using our website. We recognise that people may need different types of support to access and participate in an ADHD assessment.
If you require a reasonable adjustment before, during or after your assessment, please let us know. This may include adjustments relating to communication, written information, appointment arrangements, the pace or structure of an appointment, or the way questions and instructions are presented.
Depending on your needs and what is reasonably practicable, we may be able to consider adjustments such as:
- providing information in a different or more accessible format;
- allowing additional time to read information or respond to questions;
- providing clear written instructions before or after an appointment;
- breaking information or instructions into smaller steps;
- confirming key information in writing;
- allowing appropriate breaks during an appointment;
- discussing communication preferences in advance; or
- considering another reasonable adjustment that may help you participate.
We recognise that accessibility needs vary between individuals and will consider reasonable adjustments on an individual basis.
Requesting an adjustment will not affect the clinical outcome of your assessment.
Information in Another Format
If you need information from us in a different or more accessible format, please contact us.
Depending on your needs and the nature of the information, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an appropriate alternative.
This may include, where reasonably practicable:
- a more accessible electronic document;
- larger text;
- simplified formatting;
- information broken into shorter sections; or
- another reasonable adjustment to help you access our service.
Please tell us what you need and we will work with you to identify an appropriate solution.
Reporting an Accessibility Problem
If you experience difficulty accessing any part of our website or service, or believe that we have not met your accessibility needs, we would like to hear from you.

You do not need to use technical language or provide a formal diagnosis to request support. We will review the issue and aim to provide an appropriate response or alternative wherever reasonably possible.
Ongoing Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing process.
We will review our website and service periodically and when significant changes are made. Where accessibility problems are identified, we will aim to address them as part of the continued development of the service.
